Wood cleaning and restoration

Wood fences and structures get cleaned at low, controlled pressure with solutions that lift the gray weathered layer and any mildew underneath. What's left is the wood's real color, ready to seal or stain — and cleaning first is the step people skip that makes stain fail early. If we're already restoring your deck, adding the fence in the same visit is the efficient way to do it.

Should I clean my fence before staining it? Always. Stain applied over gray, weathered wood or mildew peels and blotches early. A proper cleaning gives the stain something to actually bond to.

Will cleaning damage older wood? Not the way we do it. Low pressure and the right solution are gentle enough for aged wood. If a section is too far gone to clean safely, we'll point it out rather than pretend.
