A fountain is the centerpiece of a yard right up until it turns green. Standing water grows algae fast in Delaware summers, minerals leave white scale rings at the waterline, and a feature that was supposed to be relaxing becomes the thing you avoid looking at.

Very few companies around Newark and Wilmington will touch fountain cleaning — it's fussy work that doesn't fit a high-volume pressure washing operation. It fits ours. We're a father-and-son crew that takes the jobs other companies pass on, and a fountain is just another surface that needs the right solution and a careful hand.

What we clean

Freestanding and tiered fountains, concrete, stone, and resin. Birdbaths and small water features. The surrounding hardscape — the basin surround, pavers, and stonework that catch overspray, splash stains, and algae creep. Green algae, black grime, and mineral scale at the waterlines.

We clean the feature drained and empty, treat the growth, remove buildup with methods matched to the material, and rinse it ready to refill. Delicate finishes get hand attention, not blast pressure.

One visit, whole backyard

Most fountain jobs pair naturally with the space around them. If we're already on-site, adding your patio, walkway, or deck to the visit costs less than booking them separately — and the fountain looks better standing in a clean space.

Frequently asked questions

How often should a fountain be cleaned? Once or twice a season for most outdoor fountains in Delaware. Features in full sun or under trees grow algae faster and lean toward twice.

Can you remove the white rings at the waterline? Usually, yes. That's mineral scale, and it responds to the right treatment. Very old, etched-in scale on porous stone sometimes lightens rather than vanishes, and we'll tell you which to expect when we see it.

Do you clean commercial fountains? Yes — office courtyards, HOA entrances, and community features are welcome.
