How Dry Ice Blasting Works
Compressed air fires soft, food-grade CO2 pellets at the surface. They hit, break the bond between the metal and whatever is baked onto it, and turn straight into gas. Nothing gets wet and nothing gets scratched. The only thing left is the grease, carbon or rust that came off, which we vacuum up before we leave. Dry ice is food-grade CO2, and the process is approved by the FDA, USDA and EPA for use on food equipment.
Why Kitchens and Shops Use It
A chemical deep clean means a crew, a shutdown, and equipment pulled apart and dried before it can run again. Dry ice cleans the equipment where it sits. Fryers, hoods, ovens, mixers and prep lines get blasted in place, and because there is no water or chemical film, there is nothing to rinse and nothing left behind that can reach food. CO2 is non-conductive, so it is safe to use around motors, panels and wiring that water can't go near. In shops, it takes rust, oil and caked-on buildup off machinery and racks without pitting the metal, so parts are ready for paint or back in use as soon as we're done. It's the same father and son team that does every job on this site, providing the cleanest, safest and brightest environment possible for your home or business. If the outside of the building needs it too, see our commercial pressure washing.

Do we have to shut down or take equipment apart?
No. We clean equipment where it sits and work around your hours, including early mornings, between services, evenings and weekends.
Is it safe on stainless steel, gaskets and electrical components?
Yes. The pellets are non-abrasive and CO2 is non-conductive. We set pressure and pellet size to match the surface, so finishes and seals stay intact.
What does dry ice blasting cost?
It depends on how much equipment there is, how heavy the buildup is and how easy it is to reach, so we quote after a walkthrough. Quotes are free.
